I know I know I haven't blogged in a while. What can I say life gets busy with work and Madison, and the construction in our backyard.
Well The garage is well on it's way. The trusses are up (I know I need to take some pictures) both Bruce and Kendall as well as our trusty neighbor Larry have been working night and day it seems to get it up and finished SOON. The shingles come this afternoon closely followed by siding (which we still need to figure out how much we need) I have gone and picked out all of the colors for everything so the guys can just go and buy as they need things. I'm soooo tired of cooking for so many people (just thinking of something to cook in that quantity is challenging). There's usually 5-7 that I'll have to feed for dinner or lunch and sometimes both, and keeping the beer stocked is a constant challenge (I think Larry's confused that it's water at the rate that he goes through it!!!)
Madison's dedication is this Sunday and we're really excited. I've found her a cute little dress with some tights and nice shoes that she'll look so precious in. I actually haven't put her in it yet to see that it fits (I think I'll do that tonight) just in case it doesn't fit for some strange reason. Aunt Holly has been playing with Madison Thursday and Friday as Sara had a field trip with Isabel to the pumpkin patch with preschool and Holly just happened to have off of work. Sara gets a nice little break and Holly gets some much enjoyed time with little Miss Madison.
Madison is eating baby food like a champ and likes just about everything but peaches so far. She'll have a smaller jar at lunch and then a large jar before bed (which consequently she's been sleeping from 6:30 to 5am) so I'm going to keep that up! Fluke or not if it works I'm sticking to it! She also giggles now which just melts my heart. You can kiss at her neck and she'll scrunch up and giggle with the biggest smile on her face.....oh it's so cute!
Work is going well for both Aaron and I. I got a laptop yesterday which is AWESOME! Since I'm partially in charge of 17 or so different buildings being on the go and away from my computer was tough. Not any more!! I can now be mobile and keep up with my e-mails and notes when I'm on the go and also take things home as needed if I have a sudden deadline.
Other than that everything is the same with us. I long for the day when I get to park in a garage and can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. Then onto the next project (their never ending aren't they!)
