So ready for October

Well I know I've been a major blog slacker lately, and I have to say it's not due to my lack of stories or urge to write to you, but more due to the subject and inability to speak freely about them. Life always throws you challenges and god always has a plan, it's just really hard to see and understand that in the moment sometimes. Knowing it all works out how it's supposed to is somewhat comforting, I know he has a plan for me, and there are lessons to learn no matter how hard the struggle. I have to say that tough situations bring out people's true character and that speaks more than words.

ok back to the fun stuff. My little munchkin is doing very well with potty training. We are about 4 weeks in now and she's not perfect yet or asking to go potty, but she'll hold it for a long while and go when you bring her which is wonderful. She's down to typically 1 or 2 accidents per day which is great. There have been three others at daycare to try potty training and two out of three have taken a break because it wasn't going well. I am so grateful for her willingness to learn.

I have to say that I am SO ANXIOUS for the month of October not only due to one of my favorite seasons for the leaves, colors, bon fires, and pumpkins, but for Halloween. We bought THE CUTEST outfit for Madison, (no I won't tell you what it is yet....but you'll see it soon).
It's so cute it's almost wrong, but I LOVE it... :) I'm also excited for my first day at a new job. It has been such a challenge lately with all of the politics, but I have worked sooo hard over the last three and a half years, I am proud to say I will finally be a John Deere employee effective October 3. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity and what the future has in store. I'm looking forward to training for the first time, and to learn and grow in my career path and areas of interest.

Other than that we Aaron and I are doing great. We're planning a trip to Colorado here in March and may take one other short trip before that if we can figure out a destination, we'll see. We've finally got the rest of the house painted (a year later....) Once the weather turned cold we felt the push to finish it this year before winter! We hope that you are doing well and we'll chat with you soon. Hopefully life will start to be a little easier so I can chat more often.

Thanks for stopping by!
Sarah
