Offer

Yes it means what you were hoping to hear (at least I hope that you were)! We've gotten our first offer in on our house and and currently going back and forth to see if we might be able to meet in the middle and come to an agreement. When she put her offer in she defiantly came in very low to feel us out and came up quite a bit when we countered it. We're currently about a thousand dollars from her top dollar and our lowest selling price so who knows. One of us might budge, or we'll just keep it on the market, have our open house on Sunday and wait for the next one to come along. After talking to our realtor he thinks that the house is showing really well and wasn't really concerned if this offer didn't work out, so I shouldn't be either. Take it or leave it, I guess we'll see.

It was a single mom who wanted a LOT of additional things in our house. All appliances, the bench that my mom gave Aaron for his birthday a few years back, all of my blinds and drapes, 3% back on the sale price to cover closing costs, a home warranty and the list goes on and on.

Anyway we'll keep you updated. For now we're off to rehearsal dinner. Adam and Brittany get married tomorrow and Aaron is in yet another wedding! BUT we do get to eat at Johny's Steak house tonight, YUM (totally worth it!). It's kind of fun since I introduced them many years ago when I brought my roommate home for a weekend with me to go boating and she ran into Adam (very drunk Adam) but who knew years later it would work out!
