The little munchkin is over 3 lbs now and about 16" long! It's a little growing machine.
We are officially "prepared" to have a baby now, or so our certificate from our child prep class says and surprisingly it was soooo helpful! I don't know how people don't think that it helps and I'm pretty sure that if it was a free service (and or all of the classes between now and May were not already full) I might take it again for a refresh!
It was so helpful to even see the rooms and where we'll be delivering, but to know when to go to the hospital, what to expect, how Aaron can help (which really eased his anxieties) pain management techniques, what to pack in your hospital bags, etc. I'm so relieved to know that if I don't want an IV and can hold down my fluids I don't need one, so you'd better believe that if there's any possible way I don't have to get one I'll be walking the halls without any needles in me!!!
I'm still on the "hoping to not need pain meds kick" but I'm definitely not against them. We'll see how things go, how long things go etc and go from there but I've decided to give it a shot. I think I'm also partially more afraid of the needles than I am of the pain....(I pass out remember)!
Well today is going to be spent indoors for a very lazy Sunday. I need to do laundry, and clean up the house a little but other than that it should be pretty relaxing......
