Spring

I know, spring isn't "officially" here until Saturday but man is it nice out!

I got to leave work a little bit early yesterday (my boss told me to!!) and who in their right mind would argue. So I came home and spent about 2 hours sitting on the porch swing reading with Boudreau for the afternoon until dinner time.

Boudreau and I enjoyed learning about our new neighborhood. Our mail carrier is surprisingly a young girl, there is a rat-pack of young boys who love to ride their bikes around our block. They always stay on the sidewalk and wear their helmets because mom told them to I'm sure. My yard has started to introduce itself to me. I will still miss my beautiful flowers from the old house and still have a chance to steal a few flowers before we sell it, but honestly I don't think I can bend over and dig like that....so I'll probably leave them. I'll miss my Iris clematis and tiger lily...very much.

Well I've put chicken lasagna in the oven for the next hour and am headed out to the swing to read again. I think that I've found my new favorite place!

And I'm SO EXCITED for everyone to visit this weekend!!! We're going to have so much FUN!
