Dr. Hermanson

So little Miss Madison had her first doctor's checkup today. Believe it or not she's already grown a whole inch and has gained several ounces! She's now 21" long and weighs 7lb 15oz. She was NOT a fan of the doctors office and made sure that everyone there knew it....yes that's right we were "those people".....I was the poor frantic woman who could NOT get her child to stop crying and she was the child who was just not having it. All is well though and we have our next checkup in 6 weeks.

I also got to go out and enjoy a brisk walk with Boudreau tonight leaving daddy home with little Madison. Apparently the doctors visit must have stressed her out because she's been cranky ever since. Anyway on Boudreau and I's walk he met two new friends at the park and even stole some guys hotdog right out of his hand! I had taken Boudreau off of his leash which is normal and the guy wanted our dogs to play together (he had a yellow lab who was 1-1/2. Anyway Boudreau went over to the guy to "say hello" and when the poor guy bent down to pet him he leaped up snatched the hotdog and had it gone before I even knew what had happened......Luckily the guy had gotten it for free from the concession stand but I still felt really bad! The guy wasn't fazed at all and was actually impressed with Boudreau's sneaky tactics....

When we got home Boudreau and I found Madison and Dad on the couch enjoying some time together.....father daughter bonding.
I thought I'd also include another sleeping Madison picture...I can't help it she just cracks me up!
On an up note she laughed today! Again it was in her sleep but she had just fallen asleep in my arms and I was watching her many facial expressions as she drifted off. She made this really big smile and then let out the most precious giggle....it just made my heart melt! Ugh I can't wait to hear it again!
