Here are some pictures from the last week or so.
She LOVES her little bouncy chair. Turns out this little Missy is a mover just like her mom and dad are. Who wants to sit still when you can be moving and bouncing around?!?! She just stares, smiles and talks to her animal friends every morning while I get ready for work.
She loves to sleep in it too......
Here's her other favorite thing, the BUMBO CHAIR! I think she feels like quite the adult when she sits in it and enjoys sitting on the counter while I cook or on the dinner table so she can have "dinner" with Aaron and I at night. She's a goof. She doesn't quite have the muscles for it yet and tends to droop further forward as she gets more and more tired...but she's getting there!
Typical bedtime for Madison. She must be swaddled (once or twice) depending on how much energy she has to break out of the swaddle the first time, the mommy bear in her crib (top right corner must be making comforting womb noises at her, and sometimes (like tonight) you have to put at very light washcloth over her face to get her to close her eyes and allow herself to go to sleep. She absolutely loves her crib and usually hangs out and talks to her crib animals for an hour sometimes before drifting off to sleep. If she's not up in her crib about 6:30ish she's very cranky and crying, but as soon as she's swaddled and up in bed to look around for a while she's peachy keen!
If you recall a few months back there's a post of her in this very same square on the floor in the living room...scroll back and see how much this little weed has grown!!!She had her two month checkup at the doctors yesterday and she's doing very well. She's grown 3 pounds and three inches in two months! She's now 23" long and weighs 10lb 8 ounces! She also had to have a bunch of her immunizations which wasn't as bad as I had thought, but still wasn't fun at the same time. She had to have three shots and one oral vaccination in her mouth that she didn't enjoy. She was doing so well this time too talking and smiling and telling Dr. Hermanson all about her life until they went and poked her!
Here's a fun little video of the mover/talker.
Hope that all is well with you!!!
