Saturday's festivities.

Aaron and I got to work on Saturday before the day got super hot. He was out working on his truck in the garage and I decided that the back deck needed a makeover that was way overdue.
I can't believe how big of a difference it made, and it went so quick!

Once it got super hot I set up little miss thing's kiddie pool in the backyard so she could play and I could get some sun.

I got it at the end of the year last year at Hy-Vee for $5 and $1 for the beach ball. I thought it was a HECK of a deal!

Yes the hat in the above photos didn't stay on long.

She wanted out and just sat next to her pool in the shade for a while. What a goof ball.

She figured out that she loves walking barefoot in the grass and playing outside. I think that's she's working some more teeth through because she was so incredibly cranky on Sunday, geesh!! She wouldn't nap longer than an hour, but was then so cranky after being up for a little while that I'd put her back to sleep.

I'm a little sad about working a full week this week as I had Thursday Friday off two weeks ago, took Wed morning and Thursday off for our new windows to get installed, YAY. I have this week to go and then get another partial week for the 4th of July, silly part being that Aaron has this Friday off for the 4th and I have Monday off so we don't even get to spend the day together. Madison on the other hand will get a full 4 days with mom or dad and then Aunt Holly on Tuesday.
