So the weekend was far too much fun, and Monday seemed to come around far too soon...I do have to comment on the fact that the weather was absolutely perfect for the 4th of July. We spent much of our weekend outdoors enjoying the weather and spending time with friends and family which was wonderful. Friday was spent boating on the Mississippi, grilling out lunch and dinner with friends, and sitting around a bon fire soaking up the heat from the fire and the cool nights air. Saturday I took the dog for a walk at Deere and I must say that Boudrea enjoys my work far more than I do and I love my job! He had a blast running through the woods, tromping through the streams and chasing down swans. Aaron and I went fishing that night and caught 21 fish. Granted they were all little guys, but they are still fun to catch if you ask me!
My first large mouth bass. He died, the little oinker swallowed the whole hook and I couldn't get it out...oops.
All of our fishies.
Sunday I went out jet skiing with my dad which was a blast. I kept trying to get him wet with the wake from my jet ski but he was too quick. It was a lot of fun! Then Aaron and I went fishing again that night and caught 12 or so more little fishies. Before I realized it the weekend was over and it was time to get up early and head back to work. Luckily I was so busy today the work day went by quickly and I was home before I blinked.
This week I am looking forward to spending some time at the John Deere Classic with dad enjoying some golf, food and fireworks. I'll take some pics and show you the course, it's gorgeous!
