BAD Dog!!!

So one of two things happened toady:
1) Boudreau hated my newly painted bedroom
2) Boudreau liked the new paint so much so that he decided to eat the wall today while we were at work....
Little crapper, needless to say I am still a little angry at him.
He hasn't done this for several years since we painted "his"room and he ate through that wall about 5-6 times. Needless to say he will now be left to roam his room when we are gone. His days of freedom have come to an end....

Other than that it's been a slightly strange anniversary. It all started off with my 20 minute drive to work taking about an hour. A HUGE storm ripped through town at 6am leaving the state of IL in a "state of disaster". There are power lines, trees and semis tipped over all over the place. Most roads were covered in trees or power lines leaving my drive to work quite challenging. They say that it could be 5 days until all of Moline has power again! Deere had to call in a tree trimming company to help with the cleanup because their large maintenance staff just couldn't handle it. They will be planting A LOT of new trees because the old ones got ripped out of the ground roots and all.

Other than that, and our deranged dog, we had a really great day. We went to an awesome restaurant called Bass Street Chop House (recommended by my great sister-in-law), it was AMAZING! Some of the best food that I've ever had. We then went to Dark Knight (the Batman movie) which was also awesome (a little long) but awesome none-the-less.

We wanted to thank everyone who sent warm wishes our way today. It has been an awesome year with all of you and we can't wait to see what the upcoming years bring. It wouldn't be the same without each and everyone one of you, Thank you!!
