Helloooo Colorado!

HI GUYS!!!

We've missed you guys all so very much!

Colorado has been an absolute blast and we're having so much FUN! Here's what we've been up to....so far:

Well we decided to leave a day early and drove in terrible fog instead of a bad ice storm that arrived next day. We made it all of the way to somewhere in Nebraska (about half of the drive) so both days weren't too much traveling for my poor little bottom.

We arrived on Saturday just in time for the family feast and enjoyed 9lbs of boneless ribs that had been stewing and slowly cooking all day as well as potatoes, corn, and salads. It was amazing!

On Sunday we just hung out at Jeremy and Mary's house with her family who had come up for a visit from California and did a little shopping. I have since discovered Baby's R Us and FELL IN LOVE. I have found my stroller/car seat/pack & play set, as well as the most amazing glider. I didn't have time that day to register for it all, but I'll be heading back before we head home to register since I've absolutely fallen in love!

Monday we got up for a very early start (about 6:30) off into the Mountains for a day of skiing! Everyone had such a good time and no one got hurt thankfully! Mary, her sister and I decided to bow out from skiing and did some shopping at three local towns. They have the most unique and fun stores to brows through. It took about an hour and a half to get there and about two and a half to get back due to the herds of people trying to drive on the only road out of the mountains. It was an amazingly beautiful day!

Today Mary's family left and Jeremy's dad Rodney arrived which has been a blast. We spent the day laying around recovering from the high energy day yesterday, and shopping which has been WAY more fun that expected (and I knew it would be fun!) Turns out they have WAY more stores here (duh I know) than we do at home so I've been like a kid in a candy store all day! Stores like DSW, The Great Indoors, Macy's, Nordstrom's (the list goes on and on!) WOW! We also hit up Costco which is like Sam's where Aaron ended up finding the TV that he's been saving for at one heck of a deal. We knew that we were going to get a new TV before everything went to digital in February. Ours has started going bad and the color tends to go in and out, plus it wasn't compatible with the new digital technology. So when Aaron saw the TV it was practically already his....so now we have to get all of our bags, pillows, a snowboard and a large flat screen TV home in my poor little car.

Mary and Jeremy have the two cutest little puppies which have made the trip very fun, and it's so relaxing knowing that Holly's at home watching over Boudreau and the house while we're gone. I know that I'll head back to register at Baby's R Us and probably do a little more shopping before heading home. We also want to go and see the Redrocks Amphitheater, and the race car drag strip right at the base of the mountains before heading home. The mountains are absolutely beautiful and it was almost 60 outside today (NO COATS IN DECEMBER!) This I can get used to!!

We miss you guys and we'll be posting lots of trip pictures and some cute little purchases when we get home!

MISS YOU GUYS!!
~Aaron, Sarah, & Baby H~
