We got invited to go on a family vacation with several other couples with young kids which sounded like a great get away. They had made reservations at the Wilderness Territories and they somehow messed up their reservations so they got upgraded for free to these awesome double room condos. They had two rooms (three beds) two full bathrooms, a dining room, kitchen and living room which was absolutely perfect!!! You'll see pictures down a little bit further. Anyway since they got upgraded for free we got invited for free which was awesome. We went out and bought food and did several other things to say thank you for this great experience.
This hotel was like a mini city as it had restaurants, two huge indoor water parks, so many slides and kid areas, several arcades, pottery places, candy stores, coffee stores, you name it, it was there! This made it so easy because all of these buildings were connected by sky walks so you never needed your coat or car keys you just walked and played!
The first picture is of one of the play areas for little kids. right next door which you can see to the right is where there's a ball area and tunnels and all kinds of things to do. behind us is the biggest arcade which we played at for a while.
Below is a picture in the back of the cabanas. There were these great cabanas that you could rent for the day which our group happened to rent for two days. They had air conditioning, tv's couches, and really nice towels which was great. You had an area you could change or bring food or drinks to take a swim break since your own food isn't allowed out in the regular seating (that's a money saver right there!) The pools are open from 9 to 9 so there's a TON of play time to fit whatever your schedule is.
Next is a picture of the wave pool and swim area (remember this picture was taken at about 7:00 on Tuesday night so thus why it's not light by the sun or very busy. You can start to see the kids play area off to the right and then there were two water slides off to the far right that you can't really see.
Here's the kids play area that was very fun. The water in this park was a bit warmer than the next pictures that I'll show you. I had brought a little sand bucket and a few scoops for Madison that were the hit of the trip. She had to fill the bucket and empty the bucket about 1,000 times and carry it everywhere.
This is a picture of the second water park. The water here was a bit colder but still comfortable if you were running around playing. You can see the lazy river off to the left side which was super warm and always one of my favorite attractions.
Scanning to the right you can now see play land! There was one of those HUGE water buckets that filled up and dumped out about 1,000 gallons of water every few minutes which never ceased to amaze Madison.
There are swings in the bottom right that you can kind of see that she loved swinging in, she'd sit there and watch as the water dumped out and the mist flowed in our direction with a cool breeze. Her eyes would get huge and then she'd clap with excitement. It was quite fun.
There were a lot of water slides that were throughout the park. They mostly looped outdoors which was quite neat but were entirely covered so you'd start inside, loop outside without knowing it and then end up inside again in the end. We only went down one big slide as almost all of our time was spent playing in kid land splashing around.
We went to the park three out of the 4 days as the last day it was snowing very hard so we decided to head out and miss the weather if we could. Madison loved every second and I think would enjoy it more next time we go back as so was a littleeeee small but still had a blast.
Here's a few pictures of our hotel room. I have to admit that I started taking pictures and then got distracted so I only really got the master bedroom which our friends stayed in and the living room. The kitchen and the dining room was quite cool, but....I forgot to finish with my pictures.
The king master bedroom
The master bathroom with the huge jacuzzi tub on the left, the sink and vanity before the wall by the towel bar and then the back room had the shower and toilet. It's HUGE right!
Awesome two person jacuzzi tub. the whole place was filled with stone tile, and high quality furnishings. Apparently it's a timeshare that they sell when the people can't make it during their week. It really worked out as we cooked almost all of our meals and I brought my crock pot so we had lunch already ready by the time we got back for lunch.
A picture of the living room and Madison in her PJ's one morning. Off to the far left just past the frame of the door would be the kitchen and just past that was the dining room. Behind the wall where Madison is was our room and our bathroom down the hall by the tan wall on the left.
We had a really great time and will probably go back someday. I definitely think that a friends trip is the way to go as you can play cards and hang out once kids go to sleep. the rooms are plenty huge for two families and then you can eat, play and hang out together which was so relaxing.
Well loosing an hour today is going to take a little bit to adjust two. Apparently we weren't thinking when we took our trip and should have taken this Mon-Wednesday off so we can sleep in and not worry about it.
Well I hope you enjoyed the few pictures that I did remember to take. I'll try to be back soon. With spring just around the corner I'm sure there will be more pictures coming when there's actually things to take pictures of!
Chat with you soon, thanks for stopping by!

That's where we went last fall with all the girls and we're hoping to go back this fall - the girls had so much fun they don't want to go anywhere else! We rented one of the cabins and cooked most nights too (off season is the way to go!)
