This weekend ended up being spring cleaning and major project weekend for us without plans to be so. Aaron grouped the guys together to get all of the drywall up on the garage ceiling which looks awesome (well done guys!). My mom stopped by late morning and wanted to kidnap Madison (I figured it was a win, win), so that emptied my hands so I could get so many things done!
I ended up getting the Christmas tree out of the front portch so Madison and I can swing now, I cleaned out my kitchen cabinets of things we don't use anymore, I painted Boudreau's dog dish which was getting chipped and grungy due to doggie ware, I vaccuumed, dusted, and painted all of the trim in Madison's room. If you remember last year I painted all of the white trim on the first floor (included windows, chair rails, and baseboards) I still haven't done the kitchen because I'm not sure on my plans here yet...... Anyway I made it up the stairs and to the window but hadn't gotten to the muchkin's room yet. It's done now! My next goal is to get our room done before our bed frame comes sometime in April which is right around the corner :)
I made a lovely (and my first might I add) stromboli. Sadly the recipie wasn't that great as it had brocoli, ham and some cream of celery soup, and cheese of course. It was just missing something that would make it yummy but since Mr. Picky hated it I guess I won't bother.....
