It's flooding, again......

Well Friday I had off of work which was so nice. Madison and i decided to go and check out the mighty Mississippi which is definitely out of it's banks.

We went downtown through the sky bridge which Madison had a blast in. I was surprised at how many kids were on the bridge which Madison enjoyed.

This picture is down by the village of East Davenport. I don't remember the last time the water was to the road down here....

This is down at our favorite park. The road and railroad are both covered by water but this is always a low spot so no big surprise there.

Another down at our favorite park by the boat docks and parking lot. Last time it flooded this is where Boudreau went swimming (no worries the current is low here) but the water wasn't quite this high.

I'm also adding in some pictures from two weeks ago of Madison, Isabel and Adria's early Easter weekend. We did the Easter breakfast and egg hunt at the church and then headed to the John Deere Pavilion for free craft day and a little test driving of the tractors.

Well I'll try and post some Easter pictures tomorrow. It's a little later than I had hoped so I'm off to bed for now. I'll post some pictures of my super fun and cheap birthday decorations for Madison.
