Hello to all. No new pictures for today although Aaron did buy me a bird feeder for the backyard which is exciting. Totally silly but I just love being outside and can't wait to feed all of my feathered friends. We are also looking at some new patio furniture for the large patio that we have in the back (but might end up just taking dad's old picnic table (for free) and making due with it until next year when we want to spend $300 on a nice set....we'll see.
Work is going well, stressful at times but still good. I had a very abrupt awakening to the corporate world policies but have adjusted and learned quickly to what is going on around me.
My knowledge so far:
1) Not everyone is going to be nice
2) there might not be a reason for it
3) hierarchy means A LOT
4) if your boss, and his boss, and his bosses boss say yes, but his bosses bosses boss says no....you have to start over.
(like I said it sure takes some adjusting!) Today there was a cute little deer drinking from the pond when I got to work that frolicked away once I drove by (they are surprisingly tame however) AND once I get my 40 hours in for the week I get to leave early on Friday (I only have to work an hour and 45 minutes tomorrow)!!! WAHOO....Long weekend and a 4 day week next week! Can you believe that it's JULY already!?!? Where on earth did June go, and I've been at Deere for two months already...WOW!
