Tada....notice anything new? So turns out this weekend was improve the backyard weekend. Started with one little bird feeder, and then a birdbath, new patio furniture and some tiki torches later.... I have found my new favorite place to read and if I sit still enough birds still come up and eat from the feeder. Those little oinkers ate the entire feeder in less than 48 hours though. I think I am going to limit them to filling it once a week. Aaron and I also went on a little adventure today. We decided to take the day and go fishing. We headed up to a small lake/pond up by Maquoketa that is stocked with Trout.
It was a very VERY windy day, Aaron was going to try and teach me how to fly fish, but due to the large gusts of wind, he was having trouble himself, so I didn't even try. Next time....
A guy that was fishing there also (appeared to be a local) was catching Trout left and right. Apparently he had this pond down to a science and know exactly where to sit.

It was quite relaxing and fun to spend the day out in the "wild" with my hubby.
