First off we have been enjoying every minute of the nice weather. This is our first summer of a little lady with a personality who knows what she wants to do. We spend our evenings after dinner either going for a bike ride, playing in the yard, going for walks to feed the ducks or stomp in puddles, playing at the playground etc. Every now and then when we have a rainy day she gets a movie night which rarely happens, but that gives me a little time to catch up on dishes and cleaning up the house since we're out and about all of the time!
I thought that I would update with a few pictures so here is one from Madison's birthday. This is the EASIEST and cheapest birthday decorations that are so cute and colorful. They are tissue paper and some fishing line to hang them up. You pretty much just fold them like a fan, tie the fishing line in the middle, trim the edges to any shape you want and then fan out the folds into a pretty little ball. Madison loved them on the morning of her birthday, it made it special!
The second is Madison practicing her A,B,C's on the fridge with her magnets. I've also since made my paint chip magnets which turned out so fun. She practices counting and colors with them which is fun. She has turned into quite the singer of A,B,C's, Row row row your boat, head shoulders knees and toes or any other cute little song that she knows. She's fun and we're so excited for the summer ahead.
