Well I guess that it's official folks, it was the worst storm since 1979 which is apparently a big deal. I get it and it was pretty bad, and to be honest I found it VERY amusing that the entire neighborhood was all home at one time and it was a Wednesday.
For me it was quite relaxing as Madison was home sick yesterday and then we were home again today but with the company of Aaron which was nice.

The drift out the back porch.

The drift between ours and the neighbor's house. It's a big one!

Neighbor's car that's covered and stuck, I don't think he's dug it out yet either....

Between our garages drift and my almost covered bench. You can almost see the top of my bird bath stand.

I think my wood pile for the fireplace is in there.....somewhere....

Madison had to go out and explore. I thought that it was soo funny how firm the snow was. Madison didn't think that it was so funny because we went to the front yard and all that she wanted to do was go to the school to play on the playground....didn't happen. Brr!!

She loved that she didn't have to bend over to get her hands in the snow. It was at the perfect height!!

Daddy and Madison (I realized once we came in that I'm always the photographer and never photographed!) I'm going to work on that....

Running down the bowling alley of a sidewalk.

Aaron out snow blowing. He had FAR too much fun with this as he did the driveway, alley, across the street to our neighbors and did their sidewalk and driveway, he did our driveway and the entire sidewalk all of the way down the front of our house to the next street. Later he went out and got 3 stuck cars and got most of our entire alley done to the other end.
It was a little tough since the snow was sometimes over the top of his super huge snow blower but he was still like a kid in a candy store and spend....maybe 4-5 hours outside today playing around and snow blowing the entire block.
Well we hope that you are safe and warm inside of your house and that you enjoyed a fun day off trapped in your house.
