Ok not really but it sounded about right. It seems like the weeks are going by faster and faster (which I'm so grateful for because it's that much closer to spring and all of the joys that it brings). I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to re-introduce myself to my yard and all of the pretty things that come up to smile at me in the spring. I'm going to be doing some major work in the greenery department this year so stay posted.
Madison and I have been suffering from cabin fever a little bit so please spring, be around the corner so we can go explore bugs and plants, and help Larry and Sherri work in their garden and go for walks!
From last weekend the gala was really really fun. I was so worried that we would stick out like a soar thumb (since this is definitely out of our comfort zone). Turns out I knew a few people there and we had a great time with friends donating to a great cause. The gala raised over $76,000 to help and fund therapists in elementary schools here in town. There are so many families with rough home lives making kids lives so much more stressful than life should ever be.
I've started reading the first Twilight book (which after 2 days I'm already almost 1/3 of the way done (and I'm SOOO not into the vampire stuff). I even tried to watch the movie that Holly lent us and i turned it off because it just wasn't catching me, that is NOT the case with the book! I have several others that you guys suggested that I'm so excited to download samples for, thanks for all of the suggestions!
Well I'm thinking of posting recipes now and then since you guys really seemed to enjoy the last recipe that I posted. Maybe tomorrow I'll think something yummy up! Tata!
