Puddle stomping

Well I sure hope that you guy have been enjoying this heat wave as much as we have! Yesterday was the first day that we spent some time outside which was sooo great. I have been looking for some rain boots for Madison and haven't had any luck finding a pair that is her size. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. For yesterday we decided to ruff it in a pair of shoes that I knew wouldn't get ruined. She splashed so hard I don't know if the rain boots would have kept her dry considering at one time she was sitting in the puddle...lol. She then stuck her hands up and told me they were dirty (they sure weren't the only thing!) We had a bucket that we filled with nuts and rocks from the yard that the chunky squirrel's missed.

I've attached a picture of what doggie heaven looks like.
And also a picture of my newest craft. They are flower accessories that can go on any purse, belt, shirt, coat, etc. Who knew ribbon and hot glue could be so cute! If you want one let me know and I can make one for you since they're so fun to make. I'm not sure how much to sell them for yet....?

I also started my sewing adventure last night and got one of Madison's monkey pillows started. I'm waiting to borrow Holly's sewing machine so I can finish off sewing the batting in place but for now it's functional. I switched her old pillow out for her new one last night so she could use her new pillow. When she woke up this morning the first words were "Monkey!"
This weekend should be pretty low key. We got invited to a fancy band that's playing tomorrow night at the Blackhawk. It's a super fancy event that friends were going to with their family. You have to buy the table and then it includes the band, appetizers, food and dancing. After they purchased the table plans came up for the family so they decided to invite friends so they still had a good time. Why not! I'll try very hard to take some pictures since we'll be all fancied up. Hope that you have a GREAT weekend!

I'm working on sewing projects right now too so my sewing machine and related stuff is all out right now. You can come over anytime and use it!
